Being honest about gaps is what regulators and users expect. Leave blank if none.

The EAA expects you to say where people can complain. Each EU country names its own authority.

Questions

Do I need an accessibility statement?

If you sell products or services to consumers in the EU, the European Accessibility Act (in force since 28 June 2025) expects you to publish information about how your service meets accessibility requirements. Public sector sites in the EU and UK must publish one. Elsewhere it is best practice and shows good faith.

Can I say my site is fully compliant?

Only if it is. A false claim is worse than an honest "partially conformant" with a list of known issues and a plan. Regulators and plaintiffs read these statements.

Are micro-enterprises exempt from the EAA?

Businesses with fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet total of €2 million or less are exempt for services. Check your national law, and note that your B2B clients may still require it.

Where should I publish it?

On its own page (for example /accessibility), linked from your site footer on every page. Review it at least once a year and after major redesigns.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is a template based on the W3C WAI model statement and the EAA. Have a lawyer review it if you are in a regulated industry.
