Sitemap SEO audit

Paste a domain or sitemap URL. We audit up to 200 pages (10 free) for the SEO basics that break most often (titles, descriptions, duplicates, OG images, canonicals, H1s, and noindex) and give you a sortable table you can export to CSV.

Free preview: up to 10 pages. Pro checks up to 200.

Built for launches, handoffs, and monthly reports

  • Before launch: catch template bugs that strip titles or set noindex across the whole site.
  • Client handoff: export the CSV as proof the pages shipped with the basics.
  • Monthly retainers: re-run, sort by score, and fix the worst pages first.

Questions

What does the sitemap audit check?

For each page: HTTP status, title and description (missing, length, duplicates across the audited pages), H1 count, canonical, og:image, twitter:card, noindex, word count, and structured data types. Each page gets a score out of 100.

How is this different from Screaming Frog?

Nothing to install and no crawl configuration: paste a domain and get answers, usually within a minute or two. Screaming Frog crawls far deeper and is the right tool for 10,000-page sites. This is for launches, client handoffs, and monthly checks of small and mid-size sites.

What do I get for free?

The first 10 pages of any sitemap, with the full report. Pro raises it to 200 pages per run, plus 25 sites at a time in the portfolio check, for a one-time $20.

Where is my license key stored?

In your browser's local storage on this device. It is sent only to Shipcheck's own API to confirm Pro access, and you can remove it at any time.

My sitemap was not found. What now?

Paste the sitemap URL directly, for example yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml or /sitemap_index.xml. Sitemap index files are supported (we read up to 6 child sitemaps; paste a child sitemap URL to audit a specific section). Gzip-compressed sitemaps are not supported.
